Paritie Studios threw open its doors to welcome participants to the Paritie Studios Open-Day on the 29th of November, 2024. It was a vibrant event filled with creativity, inspiration, and hands-on experiences, leaving attendees energized and excited about the future of digital media and storytelling.
A Warm Welcome
The event began with a buzz of anticipation as participants registered and settled in. Paul Onokoka, the Community Manager at Paritie Innovation Hub, gave the opening remarks, which set the tone for the day and sharing the significance of the Open-Day in showcasing the heart of Paritie Studios.
In his brief overview of Paritie Studios, Paul took the audience through the studio’s journey—its key milestones and unwavering commitment to creativity and innovation.
Meet the Team and Explore the Space
Participants had the opportunity to meet the talented Paritie Studios team, whose dedication and expertise form the backbone of the studio’s success. A guided studio tour followed, offering attendees a behind-the-scenes look at the spaces where ideas transform into stunning visual content.
Talk on Photography
We had a photographer – Imam Alhassan talk to the attendees about creativity I photography and how style is idiosyncratic to every photographer. That’s why no two photographers will take photos the same way. He also talked about how his journey in photography started and the fact that his first interest was video editing, but he later discovered he had more to offer in photography. He further encouraged upcoming photographers to always bring out their own creativity through their works.
Live Projects Display
One of the event’s highlights was the live projects display, where attendees saw firsthand some of the incredible work produced by Paritie Studios. These projects range from wedding videos, motion graphic videos, promo videos for clients and podcast videos. The display underscored the studio’s expertise and creativity.

The hands-on practical session was an exciting one as participants were guided on the rudiments of content creation. This session was led by the studio creative lead, Abubakar Buba. He showed them different ways they can get content ideas when they stuck on what content to post on their socials. He also showed them how different platforms (especially YouTube) works in term of monetization. Furthermore, he gave them tips on how to respond to brands that will want to partner with them in the future. All these helped the participants to gain valuable skills and a deeper appreciation for the art of content creation.
Insights and Inspiration
The Q&A session featured the studio creative lead again – Abubakar Buba. He responded to questions by participants bordering on content creation, content curation, advise on when and how they can start their content creation journey. The discussion offered participants insights into the challenges and triumphs of running a creative studio and opened doors for potential collaborations.
Closing Moments
As the day wound down, attendees enjoyed refreshments and built connections during the networking session. The event concluded with heartfelt closing remarks by Paul Onokoka and group photos.
